IEA Member, Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., was named the most sustainable company in North America and the fifth most sustainable company in the world by by Corporate Knights, a media, research, and financial information company based in Toronto, Canada. Corporate Knights used 24 key performance indicators and analyzed over 8,000 companies to compile their 2021 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations list. Stantec is the only engineering and design firm in the world included in Top 100. Ranking in 2021 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations is the second major sustainability recognition Stantec has received in recent months. In November, CDP (formerly called the Carbon Disclosure Project) recognized Stantec as a climate leader by awarding the firm an A- for the third consecutive year.
