It looks as if new County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher will be appointed to fill the seat on the California Air Resources Board previously held by former Supervisor Ron Roberts.
As a former State Assemblymember, Supervisor Fletcher is acquainted with the ARB operations and politics, so his appointment by Governor Newsom may provide an important perspective to CARB. At the same time, it will be important for Supervisor Fletcher to get up to speed quickly on the unique air-quality issues facing San Diego.
